<p>We are very pleased to announce the opening of our new Ambulatory Care Center on the on the University Campus of <a href="MedicalCenterHP.cfm?id=6">UMass Memorial Medical Center</a>.&nbsp; Appointments are now scheduled for several services including <a href="MedicalCenterIP.cfm?id=1854">cancer</a>, <a href="MedicalCenterIP.cfm?id=1700">diabetes</a>, <a href="medicalcenterIP.cfm?id=2589">heart and vascular</a>, <a href="MedicalCenterIP.cfm?id=2475">orthopedics</a> and diagnostic mammography. <a href="MedicalCenterIP.cfm?id=5631">See the schedule of services</a> moving to the Ambulatory Care Center.</p>
<p>Putting the focus on the patient is at the heart of our new Ambulatory Care Center (ACC). With input from our patients and their family members on its design, the center includes many features that emphasize a comfortable, relaxed environment.</p>
<p>In addition to providing convenient access to diagnostic testing including CT and MRI, exam rooms feature large windows to allow in extensive natural light, comfortable waiting areas, resource centers, and education and consultation rooms to ensure comfort and privacy.</p>
<p>Placing clinical research adjacent to our clinics allows for easy access to research trials for patients helping bring the latest technology, medications and breakthroughs to the bedside. The center supports our researchers in their discovery of new treatments and provides an optimal training center.</p>
